Presentation Saint-Jacques is one of the most beautiful churches in Belgium.
A former Benedictine abbey founded in 1015, the present building was rebuilt in the flamboyant Gothic style between 1514 and 1538. Only the 12th century Romanesque forebody has been preserved. In 1558, a Renaissance portal was added.
The interior, a veritable stone lacework, contains many artistic treasures: 14th century stalls, 16th century stained glass windows, organ case from 1600, Del Cour baroque statues, remains of the 11th century crypt, double spiral staircase, and many other wonders...

Opening : Opening :
The church is open every day on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (depending on the presence of the sacristan), and one hour before weekend services.

Opening in season :
Volunteer guides are present in the church from March 1 to October 31, Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. (subject to availability of volunteers).

Out of season, possibility of visits for groups.
